This stunning £440 million shopping centre in Oxford is a showcase of premium bespoke branding and wayfinding signage. The complex covers 800,000 sq ft and has space for 100 shops, restaurants and a cinema. An estimated 15 million people will visit annually, with 3,500 full-time jobs created.
Ascot manufactured and installed a variety of internal and external signage elements, working closely with the client’s designers to accommodate their creative aspirations. The demanding programme was fully accommodated by Ascot, with our dedicated project managers and install operatives stepping up to the mark to deliver on time and within budget.
The signage incorporates a variety of bespoke finishes, including some beautiful antique metal effects.
The key directional signage items have internally mounted LED modules to create even face illumination to the text detail.
At the basement levels of the centre, we implemented a brightly coloured wayfinding scheme to aid vehicle user flow within the car park levels and direct pedestrians to the main lift and stair cores.
