Isle of Man Ferry Terminal

The Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool is a key infrastructure facility that serves as a gateway between the Isle of Man and the UK.

We were brought on to the project to implement the exterior brand signage, interior graphics and sitewide wayfinding.

With the facility requiring the name in the Manx language in addition to English, the length of the text in each location posed a unique challenge at the design and installation stages. Our design team developed a bespoke fixing solution, allowing the lettering to be suspended beneath the building canopy all round the facility.

Due to the harsh seaside environment, the signs required the highest grade of our SureCoat paint finishes - a process engineered to last in harsh exterior conditions.

At ground level we manufactured and installed totem signs around the site, and within the facility users are guided by brightly coloured wayfinding graphics.

“From design to install completion, Ascot signs have been very professional and great to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend using Ascot signs in the future.”
